The buildings and dwellings are not owned by any individual, but by AHC. Each dwelling is allotted ground for use as a yard, subject to the rules and regulations of AHC. Prospective buyers must be approved by the Armistead Gardens Home Corporation, which includes a credit check and background screening. The property cannot be rented for the first year of ownership.
